If you prefer living in a charming subdivided home instead of a standard apartment building, Regent Square is the neighborhood for you. By car it’s about 10 minutes to campus; the bus takes a bit longer.

Great beer, awesome Thai food, a movie theatre showing foreign and independent films, a small assortment of quirky little shops, and Frick Park are all right at your doorstep. Did I mention great beer? D’s SixPax and Dogz boasts 20 beers on-tap, a beer cave, and a beer library (you’ll want to study at this library) where you can stop in for one of their locally famous Chicago dogs (or veggie dogs) and pick up a mix-and-match six-pack of micros, imports, and some of the best beer in a can that money can buy.

Regent Square is a family-friendly neighborhood, however you choose to define family. Everyone is welcome in the Square.
